Resilience, quality, and 21 years strong

After Hurricane Katrina, we reopened on September 25, 2005, continuing our tradition of delivering quality and consistency. We celebrated our 21st anniversary on July 30th and look forward to many more years of serving our community.

The story behind our restaurant opening

Mark Twain’s Pizza opened on July 30, 1985, at its current location on Metairie Road, in a part of Old Metairie once called “Skinny City.” Originally sharing space with Cuban Liquor on one side and Melba’s Ice Cream on the other, we expanded in 1993 when Melba’s closed, growing into our current 1,800-square-foot space.
